We are looking for Business Development Managers of an experienced level to join our Swansea based multi award-winning team.

To best tackle this role, you’ll delve into new opportunities every day, and you’ll always be striving to identify new prospects across the b2b sector. We’re looking for ambitious, driven people who have a passion for delivering customer excellence, working to achieve the best for our customers, colleagues and partners.
You will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing sales through sustained prospecting activity and will be able to develop strong internal & external relationships delivering solutions to meet customer demands and requirements (Volume and Value). You will be responsible for the delivery of new customer acquisition targets and sales order values within a dedicated area from our defined portfolio of mobile, fixed, hosted and connectivity solutions. You will have a clearly defined sales methodology and will be required to create and present a credible sales plan. Keeping up to date with market developments and customer insight will be needed in order to contribute to the wider Field Sales strategy.

Your key responsibilities
- Generating business leads and following up on sales opportunities for Mobile, Hosted and IT Services.
- Working to monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Arranging and hosting meetings with clients and prospects via MS Teams, or at customer sites should this be required.
- Creating, growing and maintaining your own self-generated pipeline by cold calling/referrals
- Completing all sales from lead to close
- Establish key internal and external relationships to support your sales plan
- Support & implement new business propositions into the UK SME market
This is an hybrid position where you will be conducting face to face meetings with clients over Microsoft Teams, and occasionally when necessary, meeting at our clients offices. At our Swansea Office you will have access to your very own office setup, demo suite, video conferencing room and team environment. Depending on your location to our Swansea office this role can either be office based or working from home.

Skills & requirements
- Minimum of 2 years Telecoms sales experience, selling solutions such as mobile, hosted telephony and connectivity.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication skills with the ability to be a great negotiator and influencer
- Ability to work independently with focused self-motivation
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.
- Good Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook knowledge.
- Ideal candidates will be geographically located between Bristol and Swansea.
