Telesales Representative (TSR) Vacancy

We’re looking for a Telesales Representative to join our Swansea based team.

As one of the UK’s leading O2 Direct Partners and longest established b2b providers in the industry, we offer small to enterprise customers with a unified communications offering consisting of; mobiles, hosted telephony, fixed lines, connectivity and IT Services.

To best tackle this role, you’ll delve into new opportunities every day, and you’ll always be striving identify new prospects across the b2b sector. We’re looking for ambitious, driven people who have a passion for delivering customer excellence, working to achieve the best for our customers, colleagues and partners.

Here’s where you come in

You’ll join our sales team in promoting, supporting and selling our full portfolio of products and services across all segments of the UK SME market.

You will be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities through sustained desk-based prospecting activity and booking appointments for business development specialists.   You will be given access to a data base of over 5000 business GDPR compliant records for prospecting and this will be supported by supplementary outbound marketing activity to warm your prospect base.  You will also be expected to add new businesses to this base from other sources within our guidelines and within the terms of our GDPR compliance.

In addition, you will be trained to eventually close new business opportunities over the phone, of a certain size when appropriate. We will also provide you with the skills and experience necessary to move into business development role in the future should you wish.

Skills & requirements

  • Experience of Telecoms industry is preferred.
  • Experience in a previous targeted outbound telemarketing/sales role is a prerequisite of this role.
  • Strong communication skills, with a strong customer centric approach to deliver an exceptional level of customer service.
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook knowledge.
  • Ability to work proactively and comfortable using your own initiative in an environment where priorities can change regularly.
  • High levels of energy, drive, enthusiasm with a passion for developing and being an active and supportive member of the team.
  • To be able to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
  • Work well under pressure

Company Benefits

  • Salary Range £18.000 to £19,000
  • Additional company benefits & pension scheme
  • Incentivising Performance Related Bonus Scheme
  • 8.30 – 5.00pm Monday to Friday (variable hours considered)
