We’re hiring a Head of Sales

We are recruiting for an experienced Head of Sales to fuel our business growth.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting a sales and marketing strategy, leading and growing our sales teams based in our Swansea HQ and across the UK, with a focus on delivering business-wide growth performance. The role of Head of Sales is an integral part of our Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Skills & Requirements

  • At least five years of credible sales and business development experience in telecommunications
  • Can demonstrate a strong track record of meeting/exceeding your revenue targets
  • Managerial skills with proven ability to recruit, develop and manage a sales team to success
  • Experience in sales strategy planning with an articulate, analytical and commercially aware approach
  • Looking for a scale-up challenge
  • Independent, structured, hardworking and flexible person
  • Have the flexibility to travel to business meetings across the UK when required
  • Located within reasonable travel distance of our Swansea HQ

Responsibilities

  • To architect and implement an effective sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the businesses objectives, utilizing clear ROI budgeting to deliver sustainable immediate, mid-term and long-term base and revenue growth.
  • Playing a major strategic role in the business sales team. You will be tasked with implementing sales and marketing strategies that further Uplands agenda and drives enhanced revenue generation for the business. The Business Sales Manager will deliver a unified market mix relative to our core target business customers and design the roadmap that will lead to the achievement of our businesses goals.
  • Leading, growing and developing our sales teams to deliver your established sales and marketing strategy to achieve business targets across our existing customer base and new b2b opportunities.
  • Establishing and overseeing the adoption of departmental vision and values, which forms part of our work culture. Playing a mentorship role to key positions within the sales department and conducting regular sales meetings with the team to set and check performance against targets.
  • Analysing of sales performance, reporting sales strategy successes, weaknesses, and opportunities to senior management.
  • Managing key relationships on behalf of the business, building strong relationships with external partners and business customers. Enjoy dealing with people and be confident that you can make an excellent and professional impression.
