Eyeing the Apple iPhone 14 Upgrade? Here’s the Lowdown

Many business users will be looking closely at their budgets when considering whether to take advantage of the Apple iPhone 14 series upgrade – seeing improvements to the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max, and a new addition to the family dubbed the iPhone 14 Plus.

Here are some reasons you might want to make the change:

Battery life

Boosted battery life is as talked about among iPhone users as the edit button is among Twitter users. Apple’s iPhone 13 series already achieved great reliability when it came to battery life, but the iPhone 14 series manages to top this. Here are Apple’s official iPhone 14 series battery life estimates and how they compare to the iPhone 13 collection.

Better photography

If good images are integral to your businesses then you will favour the iPhone 14 Pro and the Pro Max, which come with a 48MP camera – that is a 65 percent larger sensor than the iPhone 13 Pro and Max models. They will also have advanced quad-pixel sensors with an additional 2x telephoto lenses.

No more notch

Apple has ditched the notch on the iPhone 14 Pro, offering a sleeker cutout which it is calling the Dynamic Island. On this model, instead of notifications dropping down from the top of the display, on the iPhone 14 Pro, they will pop out from the Dynamic Island. The Dynamic Island is also the space where you can keep track of apps you have running in the background. The ‘always-on’ display that is a beloved feature of the Apple Watch has made its way to the iPhone, too. The iPhone 14 Pro and the Max dims your wallpaper so your custom background and lock screen customisations can shine through, whether your screen is on or off.

A superior processor

Apple has made the latest A16 Bionic chip exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro models.
The A16 Bionic is built on a 4nm process and can perform up to 17 trillion operations per second, so the iPhone 14 Pro is more efficient and faster than any iPhone that has come before. (Apple claims it is up to 40 percent faster than the competition).
