Uplands Update – Business Continuity – 25/03/2020

During this uncertain time, we would like to reassure you that supporting your services remains our key-priority.

Your dedicated Account Manager is still here, proactively managing your account, ready to provide support to you as and when you need it – and we know that’s never been more important.

Our teams have been equipped with secure technology enabling them to access all the systems they use to support your services from the security of their home, just like they would do from the office. So please continue to contact us via our usual channels.

We are also able to assure you that our Direct Network Partner O2 and Accredited Partner Gamma are also working hard to provide continuity and business as usual, providing us with the support we require that enables us to further support you.

Very importantly there are some changes to ordering Hardware & SIM Cards – Please be aware, that as we rely on third-party suppliers and courier services for Hardware and SIM Card delivery, and we cannot guarantee that we will be able to continue delivering these as per our standard processes. In the potential case of an even more restrictive lock down we strongly advise if you require Hardware or SIM Cards in the near to mid-term future that you order these now to help ensure you receive these.

We appreciate that many businesses have had ‘Home Working’ imposed on them. This will be particularly challenging if this isn’t a way you have ever worked before and your tech may not be ready to support you with this.

We are here to help.

Please reach out to your Account Manager if you are facing challenges with your Telecoms or IT Infrastructure. We will do all we can to help resolve your issues and try to make things that little bit easier.

Here are some key challenges that businesses are already facing and that we have easily resolved:

  • Making and receiving office calls from home.
  • Slower internet speeds due to increased bandwidth usage.
  • Collaborating effectively with the team.

If you are experiencing issues please do not hesitate to contact us. Let us help you iron out these problems now so you can work as effectively as possible during the weeks ahead.

We will continue to closely monitor our business practices, ensuring the safety and well-being of our staff, customers, suppliers and partners and we will continue to keep you updated throughout this process.

If you have any concerns or questions please contact your Account Manager in the first instance or call us on 0800 24 00 00.

Kind regards,

The Uplands Team
