We’re looking for a Mobile Business Specialist to join our team.
As a Mobile Business Specialist, you will play a pivotal role within our Unified Communications sales team. Your mission is to promote, support, and sell our Mobile Connectivity solutions to diverse segments of the UK SME market. This dynamic role requires a proactive approach to identifying and cultivating new opportunities, crafting proposals, and securing deals over the phone. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to schedule meetings for larger prospects and introduce additional products and services for our experienced Business Development Managers (BDM’s), earning a share of the commission upon their success. You will have access to a database of over 5000 GDPR compliant business records for prospecting, supplemented by outbound marketing efforts to engage your prospects effectively. Furthermore, you will be encouraged to expand this database with new businesses while adhering to our GDPR guidelines.
In addition to your primary responsibilities, we offer training on a range of other products and services, providing a clear path for career progression into a Business Development role if you choose.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Penetration:
- Drive the promotion and sales of our Mobile Connectivity solutions from VMO2, Vodafone, EE and Three, across various segments of the UK SME market.
- Opportunity Identification:
- Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities through dedicated desk-based prospecting.
- Create compelling proposals for our mobile services and successfully close deals via phone or Teams communication.
- Meeting Booking:

- Schedule meetings for larger opportunities and introduce additional products and services to support BDM’s.
- Earn a commission share for your contributions to successful deals.
- Data Management:
- Leverage our GDPR-compliant database of over 5000 business records for prospecting.
- Support your prospecting efforts with outbound marketing initiatives.
- Expand the database by adding new businesses within our GDPR guidelines.
- Continuous Learning and Growth:
- Participate in training programs for other products and services, facilitating potential career advancement into Business Development.
Skills & Requirements:
- Preferred experience in the Telecoms industry.
- Previous experience in mobile sales, whether in the business or consumer sector.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a strong customer-centric approach to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Outstanding organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Comfortable working proactively and using your initiative in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- High levels of energy, drive, and enthusiasm, along with a passion for development and teamwork.
- Effective workload prioritisation and management skills.
- The ability to excel under pressure.
