We’re now looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join our team and take their career to the next level.
The role
Hybrid working – home-based with travel to our Swansea HQ at least once a week (mileage covered)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00 – no evenings or weekends
Salary: Up to £35,000 base (negotiable depending on experience)
Car allowance: £400 per month (£4,800 per year)
Uncapped commission
What you’ll be doing
Winning new business customers through outbound calls, networking, events, LinkedIn and referrals
Leading the entire sales process from first contact to closing the deal
Building and managing your own pipeline in our CRM system
Presenting Uplands OneTelco services persuasively to clients and prospects
Meeting and exceeding achievable monthly and quarterly targets
Preparing proposals and running meetings via Teams, with occasional in-person visits
Carrying out bill analysis to show the value of choosing Uplands OneTelco
What we’re looking for
At least 2 years’ experience in B2B sales with a proven record of exceeding targets
Telecoms sales experience (mobiles, cloud phone systems, internet) is an advantage, but not essential
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly
A results-driven, ambitious approach with the independence to manage your own work
A collaborative team player who also thrives on individual success
What you’ll get
Up to £35,000 base salary (negotiable, depending on experience)
£400 per month car allowance (£4,800 per year)
