In this role, you will be instrumental in cultivating client relationships, fostering satisfaction, and driving business growth. Customer Account Manager – Full-Time, Permanent Role

Location – Uplands OneTelco, Villiers House, Charter court, Swansea Enterprise Park, Swansea, SA7 9FS

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer retention, re-signs, and minimise churn.
  • Manage a diverse customer portfolio (Mobile, Fixed-line, Internet, Hosted, Digital IT).
  • Understand key partners such as Virgin Media O2, Vodafone, EE, Three, and Gamma.
  • Keep customers informed about the full range of Uplands services.
  • Identify existing telecom services, suppliers, and contract details through account mapping.
  • Analyse billing data for tailored Uplands offerings during renewals.
  • Build enduring customer relationships.
  • Proactively manage opportunities to meet business expectations.
  • Address and resolve customer queries, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate entries in Salesforce CRM, Retention, and OOC databases.
  • Follow all guidelines for processing workloads and ensure compliance.
  • Attend relevant meetings and training sessions to stay informed about industry trends.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the marketplace and customers’ evolving needs.
  • Consistently meet or exceed targets for re-sign, churn, new connections, profitability, account growth, referrals, and customer service excellence.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in supporting or selling telecommunications services is preferable.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a drive to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Proficient IT skills and experience in using CRM systems.

 

Company Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of up to £23,000.00 plus a compelling bonus scheme.
  • Working hours are 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday – no weekends or late-night work.
